Comment by Don Roulo 20 hours ago: This Wednesday night I will be speaking at our church service. Always fun to do that. Church is family and it is very personal and relaxed.

I believe the title of the message will be, "Work Is Not A Four Letter Word." I will be hitting on work is a gift, not a curse...and work is our way of worshipping God - spirit, soul and body.

It is streamed live if anyone is interested at www.ihavenewlife.com. I will get a link of the recorded version. I am up for any input. It is a church service, so it is not quite the same as speaking to a secular group. Many similarities, but just enough different.

Almost forgot...I was informed today as a confirmation I will be speaking in January of 2014 as the keynote speaker for the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in our county. Usually about 300-350 people at this luncheon. Many community leaders and a few local 'dignitaries.' I already know what I am speaking on. It will be fun and I am looking for some great exposure to open up doors to other events.

Comment by Don Roulo 21 hours ago: Jared...congrats on the first speaking gig today! Sometimes lurking behind the scene and gaining knowledge is a great thing to do...for a while. Then its time to put things out like you just did.

Speaking is one of those things that can always be tweaked. Not picked apart, but always room to improve.

Going to be editing the video and I'll post a link here for discussion soon. Thanks for all the tips you guys give constantly. I haven't been very vocal on here as of late, but I do read the emails that come in and wanted to thank you all for your discussions.

Karen, my iPad is connected to my cell phone plan, so no need for wifi. I haven't experienced bad reception yet, I'll report back if I do.
