Comment by Randy Walker on August 25, 2011 at 5:15pm: Hi everyone. I had been in the corporate world until the crash in 2008, since then I tried the insurance agent route - not for me. I have been using my residential painting skills for the past few years and have been relatively successful. Earlier this year I hired several flyer deliver people to deliver flyers in my immediate area nd that really jump started the business. I'm going to go another round with flyers and feel the need to rachet things up a bit. I envision me and my daughter painting what we sell, and through continued marketing, get to where I am just quoting, selling and managing the business. I intend to start blogging about all things painting; putting a more comprehensive business plan together; etc. Thanks for reading this.
