I modeled this one after Pat Flynn's Security Guard Training site. I am still moving up in the ranking for my primary keyword, sitting at #20 and my secondary key word sitting at #12. The great news is that I have seen some revenue $8.00 so far for only being live 2 months! Not bad I suppose for not ranking on the first page for my keywords. Once I hit the first page my goal would be $50 a month or greater. Take a look and let me know what you think!

I have worked on this site for a couple of week day evenings. I am still in the process of generating epic content. This is an example of an Amazon Affiliate style site. My primary keyword is "cheap kayaks" with many different secondary keywords as pages. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I wanted to ask and see - what kind of content do you want to see? What would you like to see covered?

Comment by Rob Orr on May 24, 2013 at 12:42pm: I've seen them move up too. I've not done any thorough checking - will do that tomorrow - but I've seen improvement. I think the side of things that many internet marketing/website owner-types haven't thought about with these google updates is how it will actually HELP their rankings if they've got a good site. Penguin and the other black and white animal updates target spam so that the proverbial cream can rise to the top.

I've noticed some slight differences just in basic searches for competitor websites on some of my keywords, but will keep a close eye.

I wanted to let you know that if you don't already know - Pat Flynn at Smart Passive Income is launching his Niche Site Duel 2.0 NOW.

This is definitely something that we need to pay close attention to, and jump in where we can. I'm definitely joining up with his duel and I encourage everyone to jump in - whether you just want new stuff for the niche site you've been working on for the Niche Site Challenge, or want to get started with an entirely new site - there is no doubt that there will be a ton of great stuff there.
