Brad -- Ahh...good to know. I'll dig a little deeper. If the modifications require changing CSS, that's probably why I stopped digging. :) I'll check it out. Thank you!

I have the free version also, and I have been able to change the form by following the steps.  Dig around a little more....

Thanks for the link, Brad. I had actually found that area of the site; however, it appears we'd have to have the paid version to do what I needed to do. I really need the form to be smaller on the vertical side. If MC allowed first and last name in one field, that would solve my issue, but it looks like they don't. Or, if we could customize the shape of the fields so they weren't so tall. Oh well. We'll work with what we've got. Thanks!

YES,  I use Mail Chimp and you can change your sign up form.  Here is the  info from the site.  I hope this helps.  Brad

I have a question and don't know that it's complicated enough for a full discussion, but I can move it if I need to.

Are any of you MailChimp users? We've created a form for our charthousepress.com website, but I really need it to be smaller for the area on the home page where I want it to reside.

It appears MC doesn't give the option of just one field for the name (appears to require separate lines for first and last name). If I could limit the form to just an email address field and one name field, I think I'd be good.

Or, if there were a way to decrease the height of the fields, that might work too.

Does anyone know if I have options to decrease the size of the form?

Jotform is a great low tech solution, 2nd only to Google forms..

Good Afternoon:

I'm need of help with a coding problem. I want to create an e-mail contact form on to my current HTML website; yet I seem to have run into a brick wall as to how to solve it.

I can provide the code in a separate e-mail and is looking for suggestions and help on how to solve it.

If interested give a shout out on my page or you can e-mail me.

Another tip for WordFence users:

If you are the only person logging into your site (most cases), WordFence has an option to immediately block incorrect usernames. I have this checked for all but my membership site, since I don't want a legitimate user being blocked because they misspelled their username.

Checking this box, along with the advice from below, makes trying to brute force attack your site very impractical and ineffective.

As Rob mentions in the article, secure passwords are great. WordPress recently updated their password strength meter to be a little more accurate, and it may be worth checking your passwords again if you are on WordPress.

Have a great weekend.
