Lots! I'm expanding my editorial business to offer a broader range of self-publishing services and resources. I'm doing a business coaching program with Alan Jackson (Six Month Jump) and he's doing a great job of keeping me focused and helping me move forward.

As a result, I need to update the messaging on my thedianekrause.com website and set up something new for my newly defined publishing business.

In addition to that, a good deal of contract work and editing jobs. Busy, busy, busy!

Ever wanted to know what you need to do to move from a wordpress.com blog to a self-hosted wordpress setup? I've written a post that covers everything you need to do that you may find interesting > How to move from a WordPress.com to Self-Hosted WordPress Blog

Hi Diane - I use Premise on my WPLaunch site, and use Studiopress a lot. I can't speak to the hosting they offer though Synthesis (which I guess is the 3rd part from what I've heard).

I like Premise and I love Studiopress :)

Does anyone have experience with the new Rainmaker platform from Copyblogger? (I guess this replaces Premise.)

http://newrainmaker.com/platform/

It looks cool, and I noticed a guy I worked with a couple of years ago is using it for one of his sites.

Hi Brad - yes - I've been able to see a quantifiable difference using Market Samurai. I've used it primarily in a couple areas - my personal blog, content for my business website, and my niche site projects that I've worked on here in the past. It's been instrumental on the rebranding I'm doing for my business site (which is currently under construction), and I've seen substantial improvements in traffic to my blog by using it to target different keywords when I'm writing.

My blog is not explicitly "monetized" but I use it to build my list and a sales funnel for the services that my business provides and it's been great to see that working.

I've not worked as much on my niche sites recently, but I have made a modest amount money from them, which all started as a project that we started here in this group a year or two back.

There is a craft to learning how to find the RIGHT numbers in Market Samurai and there has been a lot of trial and error trying to find those numbers, but I've got a few things that I've learned to look for now that I'll cover in the future.

Rob,

Well done about Market Samurai.

Have you been able to track  real sales (profits)  due to using Market Samurai?  In other words something you are selling someting or a service  that you would not have sold unless you used Market Samurai?  Thanks  Brad
