Yes, I am a huge fan of Drupal. Thanks for the compliment. Any thoughts on things I should change?

Hi Rob, thanks fro the shout out, I am currently using my website as a portfolio site. I am looking to find a new job doing graphic design and web development. I would love some feedback on my site and if anyone has any ideas on how to make my site better. My main focus is responsive design and making sites work on a mobile site.

Thanks again,

JON

Larry welcome to the group!  We've got some great discussions going on here, so make sure to check the forum and see what other folks are doing. I've also got a lot of stuff on my site for folks that are trying to get started with their website, and my podcast is right in the middle of a series onWebsite Basics that you might be interested in too.

Hi Rob, my wife (Betsy) and I attended the CWE event last month at the Millers. So much information to bring home.  Since we attended we have purchased our Domain Name but could use some guidance on creating our website.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Joanne - great to hear from you! Yes - about.me is easy and it's free. I think it's now open to everyone too. I can't think of any negatives for using it - I've had it in my email sig for a long time now.

About.me creates a public profile that kind of serves like a very nice virtual business card. I'm not sure if there is an option to make it private though.

I LOVE about.me and wish I would have thought of it first!

Hello again Rob! I apologize, I wanted to reply to the e-mail you sent recently but I could not locate it. This is in regard to your recommendation for using about.me. I am just wondering . . . is the information only available to the person(s) you actually send the link to??? It appears this way but I am a little squeamish over the privacy factor. If you know the answer I would appreciate your input. I do think this would be a valuable option for many of the 48days.net folks.

Good stuff Joanne - I'm sure you'll love it. I've got Dropbox installed on everything - my desktop, laptop, smart phone, kindle, etc. It's awesome, and even better because it's free!
