A JUMPers Heart is one that guides with commitment. Its power reshapes our past missteps and failures into the successes of today. Each beat of a JUMPers Heart is an anthem that declares excuses and fear will not control me. That today is a gift I will utilize to the best of my ability.

The Hard Thing: Aligning our hearts to establish the discipline that leads to meaningful and long lasting success is not easy. It requires regular and consistent work.

The Good News: It’s worth every effort we put into it.

We invite you to establish yourself here as someone who makes a difference. To participate in our discussions and events. To be better prepared for each phase of your next JUMP.

Our Jump Start Code:

Today we will…
Live by truth.
Express our love.
Share our enthusiasm.
Take action towards our dreams.
Walk our talk.
Dance and sing to our music.
Embrace our blessings.
Most of all, we will make today worth remembering.

Hey, Y'all. I'm Sam. Just wanted to introduce myself. Most people know me as a Pastor or Farmer, but I also have several books on the market and I have a weekly Bible Study Podcast.  I've been a part of 48days.net for several years, but I'm new to this group. I'm making a huge jump early in 2017 and am laying the groundwork now. Short version; my wife and I are moving to Scotland to work with struggling Churches, and we're also going to work with people who want to grow some or all of their own food or to find way to earn income in the local food economy. Related to that, I am working to transform my blog and test garden from a hobby into an income producing business complete with online courses and membership site.  Lot's to do. Oh, I almost forgot, my wife and I are leaving next week for 5 weeks in Scotland to lay the foundation for our planned long term move next year.

Hi Billie!  Wow, these are great. This looks like a good starting point, but I'm not your target market :)

People treat their pets like they treat their kids, right? (at least some do). Consider comparing pricing with some kids digital art photography.  This looks like similar pricing I've seen for photographers starting out.

Of course, as you start to get referrals and more work than you can handle, the price can go up! I love your creativity. It's a unique look that brings out the personality of the pet more than a photograph.

Hi Guys, I have a question..I paint digitally. And just starting to paint dogs.

And here's my question:  How much do you think I could charge for one of these? These are digital art. The client would send a photograph of the dog - I would need a full resolution photograph (not compressed for the web) and then I paint them. I am doing two for a friend. (So these are not paintings - they are photographs I painted in the computer)
I am thinking this: too much or not enough?
8x10    on beautiful archival paper        $75
11x14   on beautiful archival paper        $90
8x10   on canvas (ready to hang - no framing needed)     `  $ 125
11x14  on canvas (ready to hang - no framing needed)        $ 150
What do you all think? Am doing website and flyers
Thanks!! Here's a couple:

Hi Jumpers.  Wanted to let you know about online summit for speakers some of you might find useful, especially if you're new to speaking outside of your day job (like I am). I don't have aspirations of being a key note speaker charging a lot of money, but some of the other topics are incredibly helpful....

-how to find speaking gigs (Peter Vargas was great)

- how to present an offer from stage

Speaking in front of small to medium groups is proving to be one of the best ways I can grow my business, build an email list, figure out what works with people and what doesn't work.  Hoping to take away about 2-3 actions steps from this summit.  Here's the link http://thespeakerlab.com/summit-registration/

Happy September :)

Came across an interesting little Kindle book for just 99¢ on Amazon...
"Extra Mile: 500 Customer Service Tips for Success"

Several helpful items for anyone who wants to set themselves apart in a connection economy. Consider grabbing a copy before it goes back up to it's $7.99 regular price.

Three questions keep popping up:

#1. Is the special offer only good for August coaching sessions?
No. The sessions can happen over any 4 consecutive weeks between now and October 31, 2016. Night and weekend timeslots are available.

#2. Is the special offer just for new clients?
As long as you are a member of JumpStart, you are eligible. It's my way of saying thank you for being a part of this group.

#3. Will the same offer be available in the future?
Unfortunately no. There's a chance a similar package could be briefly available to the entire 48 Days Community, but if it happens it will be at least twice as much.

Still have questions? Hit me with an email, alan@sixmonthjump.com
