Just wanted to say happy Monday to all of you 48day-ers. Here's a nice video that will hopefully put a smile on your face or get you motivated for better Mondays!

Most of those points apply to me - quite an interesting article.  I would love to see an extroverts opinion on this article.

This article was an interesting read.  It pinpointed several things that introverts deal with.  I was able to identify with 12 of the 23 signs. I've known for a while that I'm an introvert, but it is amazing because a lot of introverts can pass as extroverts.

I am glad that the American Psychiatric Association decided against classifying introverted personality as a disorder (very glad).

Does small talk create a barrier between people?  How so?

I read this article the other day, but just went back to it to more intentionally pick out those that do or don't fit me. Only 2 don't fit. (While I don't try to do everything, I don't want to be an expert in just one thing--maybe 3 or 4. And I don't actively avoid any shows that involve audience participation. I used to, but now--depending on my mood and who I'm with--I think some are fun.)

I just read the article and tallied a list. I am definitely not three of the things (I married someone who is more introverted than I, I don't really screen calls unless their 800 numbers, and I generally like the isle seat over the window seat [no subway where I live].

The remaining 20 are split with 10 being a definite similarity to me, and 10 being me on occasion.

Thanks for sharing the article. :)

Good article.  I'm prone to many of the concepts mentioned, but not all. I'm not one who would rather be an expert in one thing, rather than do it all.  I like being able to handle the whole project, if  possible. Thanks for posting it!

Well, Aaron, most of it is me except I married an omnivert and I try to avoid parties (especially big ones). I really don't screen my calls either. I am not much of a writer but I think I could be if I really wanted to persue it. Instead, my passions lie with photography and videography. I really don't know what took me so long to realize it since I've always been involved in A/V and have enjoyed photography.

So, 3 1/2 out of 23 aren't me...not bad.
