You make a great point, Rodney.
Susan Cain's book would be a good one to reread.
It's interesting how many leaders & historical figures were actually introverts, even though it may not have been obvious.

Leslie, i thought the book was extremely affirming- for the first time, I see my introvert temperament as a gift with great advantages! Her book helped me to see how to harness the powers of being an introvert, like being a great listener. I'm not sure of any other books to recommend at his time.

Do you mind sharing your take on the book, Rodney? Do you know of other books for introverts you recommend?

Thanks Josh and Leslie! I'll check out the discussions! Leslie, I found out about the book just searching for content on introverts and personality types. I've finished it, a co-worker let me borrow it last week!

Hello Rodney.
Welcome. Several members of the group, and I believe Dan Miller also have read this book.
I found it inspiring to learn that introverts are just as influential as extroverts.
How did you come across Susan Cain's book? How far along are you?

Rodney, welcome to the group. If you're interested, there are discussions started on most of the chapters. Feel free to add your opinion and maybe even restart the conversation.

OKAY, so has anybody else read Susan Cain's "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking"?  That book is like the Introvert's affirmation bible or something!  What do you guys think of it?

I was listening to the Family Life Today podcast, in the episode "Making Sense of the Differences," they talked a lot about introversion and extroversion in marriage. I haven't listened to the other two episodes yet since they are today's and tomorrow's.
