My last two episodes on Quality Living Made Simple podcast cover goals. I interview Erik J. Fisher and Jim Woods, who wrote the book "Beyond the To Do List Volume 1:Goals". If you're interested, you can listen here: http://simpleliving.us/029 and http://simpleliving.us/030

This is a great, practical book about setting and meeting goals by Erik Fisher and Jim Woods. http://qualitylivingmadesimple.com/going-beyond-the-to-do-list-and-...

Hello All! I'm new to the group. I have always struggled with making goals. I am more of a "let's see where this goes" type of gal. I believe God has a plan for my life so I struggle with making goals for myself as I view it as trying to control my path versus allowing Him to control my path. I did have a goal earlier this year. It was to leave the company I was working for by summer. Well, God took care of that because the company let me go in April. God answered my prayer just not in the way I had "planned". If it had been my choice, I would have landed my "dream job" before leaving. It got me thinking, maybe I am not meant to work for a big or small company. Maybe I am supposed to carve my own way. I started doing Virtual Admin work in June. I have 2 clients. One who is on board and meeting with me regularly and giving me projects. The other client I have is not as committed and it is hard to pin her down. I need to find more work so I should set goals with that. I have also started a blog and need to spend time on the website look and content. I should set goals there as well. I'm also a single mom to a 12 year old boy and 10 year old girl. They are currently home with me so it is challenging to find the time to work on all this. The kids go back to school in 3 weeks so I am looking forward to having more time during the day to pursue my new career path. Anyway, enough about me. I look forward to learning from all of you some different ways to set goals and the steps need to reach the goals!

Hey, everybody! I haven't posted anything in a while. It's been a rough January. I need a do-over to accomplish my goals this year. Who's with me?
