Hi Everyone:

I was asked on the Marketing and Promotion forum to explained how the animated videos were created that you see on Udemy as my promo videos. You can click on each class to see them.

Step 1:  I created a free account with powtoons.   http://www.powtoon.com/

Step 2:  I browsed their templates and found one I liked.

Step 3:  I replaced their "script" with mine. I kept their music.

Step 4:  I saved it and it will generate a link. You cannot download the mp4 with the free version.

Step 5:  I found a seller on Fiverr.com (2 different ones) but will recommend: https://www.fiverr.com/godbendz

Step 6:  I communicated with them before I ordered the gig. I sent them the link.

Step 7:  They said "no problem" we can do it. I ordered their gig.

Step 8: I now have the mp4 in which I can post it where I like-Udemy, Youtube (with added coupon slide).

Note: You have the option of not having the music or you can have them to lower the volume to very low if you plan to do voiceover (reading the script). Then you can place it in your video editing software (Movie Maker etc...) to add your voice as it is playing.

Hope this helps.

Dr. Powers:

I have transcribed professionally for nine years.  I would be happy to work on your project for you if you would like.  Email me at clSwalwell99@gmail.com and we can talk a little more about what you are needing and what I can offer.

I've self published seven books with at least four more coming out in 2015 and each subsequent year. I have experience with formatting, etc. for eBooks and print books as well.  Look forward to talking with you further.

Hey David,

Check out the app call Rev. You can record great quality audio AND hit the transcribe button, pay a dollar a minute for audio transcription. You'll have your copy in about 24 hours. As my 4 year old would say, "Bam!"

I use a Rode Lavalier mic with it and so far I love it. Hope that helps!

I lecture a lot and want to start transcribing them for use as e-books. Any good recommendations for transcription services?

Thank you, Christine. Animoto is always adding new themes, so I decided to try something new.
