Tony, I'm just joining this group, but thanks for the cost breakdown there as well congrats on the latest.

So, forgive me I'm just trying to understand what's going on with your costs, as I have yet to produce a "physical book"... Are those your primary costs, or are you getting those costs out of some all inclusive deal that includes other things like, editing and design, etc?

Hey DIY folks...

...well I've been really going at it over the last couple of months with a couple of self published books, a new workshop that we'll be doing next week and working on our first book proposal for a traditional book.

Happy to say that our latest Kindle book, Connect Like You Did When You First Met: 101 Proven Question for Co..., is doing well with little promotion.

Next up is the physical book that will be completed for Create Space sales.

So here is my cost breakdown because a Kindle book really shouldn't cost you that much.

Book cover = $5
Format to .mobi = $10

Physical book cover = $20
Physical book format = $25

There you go. For $60 I'm getting both a physical book and a Kindle book. I also have this available on my own site HERE which gives you the ebook version as well as the Kindle book edition.

Hope this helps you get your book out there.

My Book, (Re)DISCOVERING THE BIBLE, will be released on May 5 (Tuesday). It will retail for $2.99,  but will be on free promo from Tuesday through Saturday. Facebook says Friday, but that was my mistake.  I'm pretty psyched. It's Volume 1 of an 8 part series. It's not my first book, but it's the first for my company, Wingnut Press.
