Imagine this for your church or gathering. Saturday starts with a "paint party" where your people can learn to paint their very own acrylic painting. (You might even be able to use it as a fund…Continue

David, your website with your new products is great- thanks for the link to it. It reminds me of Nick Loper's website (Side Hustle Nation.com) except for artists!  I've not been on the 48 days site in a bit but I see all the comments through the emails- it's great to see the community building on here :)

David, yes, it's me performing an original song. I am more comfortable performing music live than art. I have done live cartoon worship at my home church's kids church and at one other church. I will be looking for more opportunities to do it in the near future. I want to see if the idea of "family worship" works rather than just kids' worship because I think there is also something for grownups in the songs and images. It will be interesting to see if the concept of a blended audience works because so far I've only tried it with kids. :)

Hi Christina,

I understand about live art. It can be messy, but the impact can be really great. But that's what I do. I really like what you do. Is that you performing that song? Is it original?

Keep me posted.

Welcome aboard Brad. I could surely use some of what you do. I am in itinerant ministry combining speaking and speed painting to communicate the Gospel. I have been pretty active, having been in over 100 churches in the last three years. The issue is I have to monetize a bit more to go much further.

Super excited to learn about this group, also very excited to learn from you all.

I work for a ministry called Young Life.  I have been an Area Director in the Kansas City area for 15 years and this year began a new part-time role of Regional Innovation Director.  After I started to listen to Dan about five years ago I decided to start my own business on the side two years ago.  We do a multitude of things from social media training, website development, and VA work for clients. My wife and very much enjoy doing this together!

Our heart is to help people in ministry lean into a gifting or passion and monetize it so they have more freedom to do what they really are passionate about in ministry. All our clients are in some form of ministry and growing a platform.

So, I am super interested in what you all are doing creatively and how you're growing!  Looking forward to the community here.

Thanks for the encouragement, David - I'm impressed with your work as well. I  like the powerful simplicity of the message in your video and the creative way it's presented.  I clicked on the Do You Hear What I Hear video, too - nice! I don't dare do live art - my process is messy and unorthodox! I get updates from Comix35 on FB, but I have never really looked into it - good idea.

Welcome back Christina. I am really glad you joined us. I love how you do your cartoon videos. That is some seriously well done stuff. I also do cartoon ministry videos but mine are a little different. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97dnvR1tzTY I also do some painting videos, etc. Much of what I do us live painting and speaking in churches but I do love making the videos. I'm currently working on a piece based on the casting crowns song stained glass masquerade. My video channel is at http://youtube.com/amokarts I saw your post on the artists Arise page and noticed you are going to Thailand. You may want to be in contact with Nate Butler at Comix35 he does a lot of work with helping cartoonists spread the Gospel especially in Asia, Central and South America. He might be a good resource for you.

One of the goals I set for this year was to create 12 new products to begin earning some passive income. I have set up a new website called http://dweisscreative.com. I wanted to test out a download program, so I generated a simple art book using symmetry and grids to help young artists with their observation skills. I call it Making Faces. I'm pretty happy with how it all worked out. Check it out if you get the chance. http://www.dweisscreative.com/uncategorized/new-product-from-dweiss...
