Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

I recently did some research with my readers and discovered that 63% have tried and failed to get out of debt at least once.

Of course, getting out of debt can be a difficult task, but anyone can do it with the right plan and a little hard work!  This weeks post on the Celebrating Financial Freedom blog is "We're Debt Free! 13 Tips to Complete Your Debt Free Journey".

So, if you're out of debt, what are some of your favorite tips to help others keep going?  If you're still trying to get out of debt, what are some of the biggest pieces of the puzzle you're struggling with?

Leave a comment and we'll help each other out!

First you have to decide that debt is not "ok". This is a big deal because we've been programmed to think that as long as you have a steady income and can afford the monthly payments that we owe it to ourselves and our family to "get it now." We convince ourselves that driving a four-year old Honda is not as "safe" as driving a new one off the lot. Why would a responsible parent subject their family to that kind of "risk"? BUNK!

Of course this line of thinking plays directly into the marketing efforts of every consumer product out there. The fact is that responsible people spend less than they make, pay themselves first, and take a long-term view of their goals instead of a short-term grasp for immediate gratification.

Right on Larry!  Most people ask "how much is the payment?" instead of "how much does it cost?".  All that marketing has a huge effect on your financial life if you let it.
