I registered the domain name adventuresinimpact.com and would love some feedback.

I have been writing articles on social entreprenuership and lifestyle design for a while so that I have a backlog to ensure I stick with it.  Before I commit to the domain, I wanted some input on how catchy it is and whether or not it portrays the idea of pursing a passion for helping people.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Dear Fred and Linda,

Thank you for the advice.  I was looking into the complex issues of starting a blog that I managed to overlook the fundamental elements that could make my blog work.  I really appreciate your input.  I will work on these changes.

Phil,

I agree with Deborah.  You need a tag line in your header image that clearly describes the topic of your blog.  Also, write an about page immediately.  My about page is the second most visited page on my site next to my homepage.

If you would like to take a look at my about page for some ideas, please do - http://www.solobizcoach.com/about/

With respect to no one reading your blog, don't get too hung up on that.  It takes time to build a readership.  I think at least 6 - 12 months.  If you want to accelerate this, start doing some guest posts on other blogs.

Phil,

I took a look at your blog. It might be helpful if you put a blurb on the home page as to what the blog is about. Even the WinterKnight link doesn't say "About Me" so it is hard to figure out at first what the blog is for and what you want the reader to do.

Thanks for the offer.  I joined your FB page.  BTW--I'm going to stick with my blog, even if I'm the only reader.  There's a lot of advice out there, and a lot of bad, unethical advice given to new bloggers.  I've been following you for awhile and I like your approach.

Yes it does take time you need to get a lot of keyword rich content out there. Most bloggers give up way too early. If you join either my Facebook page or my linkedin group I will send you a free 30 min audio about the top 3 mistakes that new bloggers make. I think it could be really insightful for you.

I just started a new blog: www.wintersknight.com.  It's distressing because I have no readership yet.  Maybe I'm a little impatient--It might take time to develop a following.  Any advice on how to get my blog out there?

I'm doing another book and pen giveaway on my blog site.  If you would like to enter, just leave a comment on my blog post (link below) and put in a short plug for your favorite charity or cause.  Thanks for checking this out.

Hello!  I am just getting this blog going again and have posted something today.  If you have a moment to look and give me some feedback on this blog, I would appreciate it.  This is going to be part of my new direction in the new year so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
