Emily, if you are writing from personal experience, I think this would be excellent. You also have enough scope with art, song, and design to be able to vary the content, yet have enough to write about.

I have an idea for a blog, but wanted to get other people's opinions who have been blogging to see if this would be interesting. I know there is a niche for everything and want to start a blog about being vision impaired and an artist/singer/designer. Any and all help is welcomed!

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Good morning Friends!  I have an exciting announcement.  After making some adjustments, A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Taking it to the Next Level is available again on Amazon in ebook  and printed format.  In addition, my second devotional, A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Because They Need You  is available in ebook format now and will be available in paperback format in a few days.

A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Taking it to the Next Level is very casual, the way I would talk to you while we walk around the block or sit together in a coffee shop.  The topics range from some deeper discussions to how similar my marriage is to washing laundry and mowing the lawn. I pray that you will be encouraged, challenged, and find hope when you finish all forty devotionals.

A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Because They Need You is a set of 40 devotionals taken from my blogs where I enjoy talking to you, friend to friend, about the joys and trials of raising children.  Get ready to be encouraged and challenged in a lighthearted way while taking a deeper look at the heart I have for my own kids.  Sit down, grab your favorite beverage, and get ready to be uplifted while journeying together as parents.

Both devotionals are small enough to fit in your purse or briefcase and are great for last minute stocking stuffers or that “Happy New Year” present to start the year off right.  The link below will take you to all four devotionals, so you can choose which one is perfect for that special someone, or maybe even yourself:

Here are two links to get you started*:

As an extra incentive, to those of you who buy either book (either ebook or printed version), if you write a small review on Amazon and email me that you did, I will be happy to send you a free gift of five additional entries, bringing your total to forty five devotions, instead of the forty in the book.  Please email me at: clSwalwell99@gmail.com after you have posted the review so I can give you my gift of thanks.

Even if you choose not to buy the book, if you have read my blog and enjoy what I have to say, please take a few minutes and hit the “like” button on Amazon.  I would be very appreciative.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.  Feel free to “like” me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/pages/cheri-Swalwell or email me at clSwalwell99@gmail.com.

Today I'm using my blog to help raise awareness for a very serious subject, Human Trafficking. It's still a major problem. I've teamed up with Exodus Road to help spread the word. Would you consider checking out my blog post, sharing it with friends and family, and consider donating to the cause?

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Good morning Friends!  I have an exciting announcement.  Mantle Rock Publishing has agreed to publish two of my devotional books.  A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Taking it to the Next Level is already available on Amazon in ebook format.  The printed version should be available some time this week.  A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Because They Need You will be available in early December in ebook format with the printed book soon to follow.

A 40 Day Habit Between Friends: Taking it to the Next Level is small and compact, perfect for stocking stuffers for those friends and family members to whom you want to offer encouragement, hope, and a little bit of a challenge at this Christmas season, but don’t know exactly what to say.  They are so affordable you can pick one up for yourself at the same time.

The devotional is very casual, the way I would talk to you while we walk around the block or sit together in a coffee shop.  The topics range from some deeper discussions to how similar my marriage is to washing laundry and mowing the lawn. I pray that you will be encouraged, challenged, and find hope when you finish all forty devotionals.

Here is a link you can use that will take you directly to my book to order:* http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A9ZRHJI/ref=&tag=cheswaficfrot-20

Hey all!

I'm brand new to 48Days, and I'm so excited to be a part.  I heard about the site when reading Wisdom Meets Passion to review on my blog.   (www.betteronabudget.com)

I think my blog has great potential, but I'm definitely not there yet - looking forward to sharing what I can and getting to know everyone here!
