Hello Judy,

You have definitely come to the right place to discuss and discover your passion.  Have you already read and followed Dan's plan in his 48days to the work you love book?  That is what gave me focus and started me on the path that I am on now.  Also on my website, I have a free ebook you can download: Dream Achiever Learning to Fly that will start you on the journey... Here is a link:

http://www.dreamachievercoach.com/

scroll to the bottom of the page to find the link and download.  As Kathy mentioned this site is full of resources.  Look them over, then tell us how else we can help:)

Hi Judy! Welcome to a great group of ladies. Can you share more about what type of job you do/did and if you are interested in doing similar work. Since you mentioned you are interested in discovering your passion, I am assuming you are not extremely content in the area you were employed.

There are many vehicles paid and free that will help you assess various areas that can help you determine the direction of your true passion. One question I think needs to be asked first is, " What do you THINK you really are good at and enjoy doing?" While I think it is important to discover your passion, I hesitate to defer to tests or assessments to be the only things you can use to help you be better equipped to learn your true passion.

If your job is ending, do you have access to outplacement services? Are you looking to continue to seek work as an employee or have you thought about starting your own business?  There is a lot of anxiety about losing a job and trying to find another but you are wise to start asking the hard questions about whether or not you are really seeking work in a field that resonates with you.

Dan has many resources on his site that may help you along your journey. http://www.48days.com/

There are several people here who offer coaching and/or programs. I also coach individuals who are looking to find their Dream Work and offer a complimentary coaching call. Feel free to come and visit at http://kathybrunner.com

I also suggest you look at the free resources on http://themuse.com

Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

I am on here so I can get some direction on how to find my passion in life. Does anyone have any ideas to help me. I am at a job that will be ending soon. I have gone on several interviews, but no offers. I finally came to the conclusion that I need to find my passion, which in turn my new career. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
