Welcome Tresaca.  So glad you are here. I'd love to hear more about how you are living out your calling with teens!  I think it is a wonderful mission.  They are lucky to have you.

I just joined this group and I look forward to participating!

I am called to help teens turn their lives around. I wish all of you the best with living out your callings.

In general I love being an extrovert because I love entertaining others, making them laugh, helping them to feel comfortable and have a good time. But even we extroverts need their alone time (or I do anyway) or have times when we don't feel like being the life of the party, yet others expect it and can become almost resentful when we take the night off, so to speak. Extroverts can start to feel pressured to "perform," and feel personally responsible for keeping everyone happy--and base their self-worth on how successful they are doing that. That's a trap we need to avoid, but it can be challenging when you are hardwired to want to please!

Lynne: In answer to your question. I used to be an introvert until God brought it to my attention that "introvert" means to look inward, or focus on self, so that I was the most important person in my life. I was putting God in second place! I am now second and an extrovert. I'm sure this wasn't exactly what you were looking for but it sure is a fast way to solve the challenges so many people face in living out their calling. Focus on God - first, last and always. By having no place for self means God has a place to work in your life.

In preparation for my upcoming teleseminar I have a question for all the called women out there:  Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?  Does your personality offer challenges to you as you pursue your calling?  If so what are they?  Looking forward to hearing from you!

We are very similar.  We have two boys and a girl - although I refer to them as my "oreo" since our daughter is sandwiched between her brothers.  Sometimes she enjoys that but other times...not so much!  :)  Blessings to you, Ann.  Thanks for sharing and "talking" this morning!  So you have two blessings waiting for you in Heaven.  I wonder if they are playing with our little one. I can't wait for the huge family reunion someday when all the parents get to be reunited (or introduced) to their little ones.  :)  Until then, they have the best parent taking care of them - EVER!
