Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Karen, what a great idea... made me think of my first car, a blue Mustang!  thanks for sharing your blog.

Karen, Your website and recent post were both terrific. I really like the concept and think helping people share/record their memories is an excellent business! Enjoyed your writing style very much!

Hello All,

Just wanted to share that wonderful feeling of finishing a project. Memoir books are ordered and oral interviews (along with coffee and cookies) mailed off to an amazing client. What a fun, but long process. In celebration I spent a little time digging through my own memories and thought I'd share my blog post with you. Hope it makes you smile and remember your own first car! I'd love to hear your story.

Thank you so much!  I like the alliteration too!  I have already written several posts and am waiting to purchase my domain name through Blue Host.  Unfortunately, I am on a fixed income right now but in six months I definitely plan to be working things such that money will not matter so much!  I would love it if you could refer students to me.  I plan to be up and running July 15!  Thanks again!

Colleen, for my 2 cents worth, I love Lynne's idea of the "dissertation doctor" --plays up the idea of a doctorate (although Master's are welcome too) and the alliteration is memorable. I think it's a winner and would love to refer students to you from our local university. Really kind of selfish of me, if my husband didn't have to edit their dissertations as much I'd get to see him a bit more :)!

Aha! It took me a bit but I figured out how to comment (Tech and I are NOT friends). THANK YOU Lynne, Karen, and Kathy! I'm not sure what I need yet but I will speak up when I do. Kind words and kinder criticisms always welcome. I will be checking out the site more this week. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome, Karen. I too enjoyed your blog post. You are quite a creative writer. I think both the recent post and the " I am Jealous of You" speaks to many. Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome aboard Debbie! (And Lynne, thanks for sharing the link to her blog.) I've read through several, you made me laugh and made me think, both things I value greatly. I truly enjoy your writing style. It amazes me how many talented folks are out there, and this network is a great way to meet you all.

That does help.  I was getting way too far off course with the name! Thank you!
