I'm interested in the group 'cause of the title.  I'm seeing more and more Americans wanting to get control of their finances partly because they see our government so out of control.  A financial…Continue

Hi,

I started budgeting several years ago and I'm debt free.I work part time in an after school care center and I am now starting a business to help people budget their household and home business finances.

Looking forward to hearing your budgeting stories,

Hello everyone.  I must apologize to Dan and to everyone in this group.  I have not be active in "Your Fit Finances", the group that I created.  I am terribly sorry about that.  I plan to change that. One of my goals for 2013 is to be much more active here. Again I'm sorry for not being more active in the past.

Hello everyone!

I am a huge Dave Ramsey fan as well! I am looking to get into the financial coaching business myself. I have some experience in Financial Services and I am going to keep that until I can build my coaching up!

Hi, I'm a huge DR follower, have been for several years, almost through step 2, had to put the snowball on pause for two weddings one in 2010 and last one in June of 2011. Paid cash for both girls weddings it was awesome! I've also been the FPU Leader at our church twice now. Very happy to join the group.

Hi all - I'm 56 years old, married, both kids out of the house. We racked up a whopping $180,000 second mortgage through a series of HELOCS and too a beating from bad real estate decisions in 2006/07. Then I lost my job in December 2008 and my wife lost her job in November 2010. She's since become re-employed, I've been a painting contractor on a sporatic basis and our primary residence is in foreclosure. We have legal counsel fighting that, however. I'm having a hard time convincing my wife to delve into Dave Ramsel and Financial Peace University. We're (mostly my wife is) comtemplating chapter 7, but I really don't want to do that. We now have six income property foreclosures on our record as well a delinquencies out the wazoo. I have exactly 10 years until I can retire at 66 yrs, 6 months and I'm going to put everything I have, energywise, into building the painting business. That's my tale of woe.
