Tamara,

What do you mean by "button"? I'm not really sure what you're referring to.

Hi Jeff, thank you VERY much. I will try this out and see if it works. Thank you so much for your help. I have another question. How do I make a button for my wordpress page? I was recently asked to provide my button to a website that I am sponsoring and ended up searching the internet for something generic. I edited the generic picture for the time being. Is there a way that I can have my own wordpresss button so that it matches my theme? Thanks so much. Tamara

Tamera,

Yes, you can change the fonts but it might be a little tricky for some people.

1) Go the the "appearance" tab and find "editor"
2) This should take you to the stylesheet aka "stylyshee.css"
3) Find the text where it says, "body" and "font family". My fonts are: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;

Here is what mine looks like in the editor, you should look for something similar (I bolded and underlined for emphasis):

body {
background: #DEDEDE;
width: 980px;
color: #222222;
font-size: 12px;
font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
margin: 0px auto 0px;
padding: 0px;
}

Change the 3 fonts to what you prefer. If their web browser doesn't have the first font, it automatically chooses the second font...same thing with the second and third font options.

You may have to find the fonts for the sidebar, header, footer, etc and change all of those. Again, some themes may be different and have other fonts than what my theme gave me.

I hope all that makes sense...it is pretty technical. I always tell people people that are new to html, css or editing websites to "enter at your own risk".

I do have some in depth training videos that walk you through how to make these changes in the html editor. They are a part of all of the training video series on my website. Currently there are 4 video training series aimed at different needs (coaches, speakers, youth groups and a target niche site). I'll be adding some new ones in the coming months.

Blessings,
