48 Days Facilitators

If you're considering teaching the 48 Days Seminars, you need this group! Brainstorm with other facilitators on what works and what doesn't!

I'm thrilled to have this group--the 48 Days Workshops are such an incredible resource for anyone who is looking to find the work they love...or even to confirm that they are already doing it!

This group is for those looking to lead the workshops--whether that is in church, in corporations, through your coaching business, etc.  This is the place to share your experiences, both good and bad, and learn about methods that work! Remember that everyone brings their own unique personality to the class--being a facilitator is an important factor on truly selling the classes--participants have to get excited about you as the leader!

This group is designed for you all to ask questions, share ideas, and generally encourage one another to really network together and make the classes (and your own personal endeavors) a success!

If you have any questions concerning the 48 Days workshops and/or facilitating them, please contact Nathan Logsdon at Nathan@48days.com

Sequestration time for many, including me.  Sounds like a good time to advertise the 48Days process.  Anyone else working this idea?

Sent out 5 press release late, late last night regarding the upcoming 48 Days Workshop I will be teaching at a local college.  Heard back from one of them already this afternoon from Fort Wayne, IN.  It is the 2nd largest city in Indiana and is about 35 minutes away.  It just so happens the main branch of the college is located there, so that is why I sent a press release to them.

They said they wanted to confirm something which we did.  Then she told me she would be running it in Sudnay's business section.  Yea!!!

I have no idea what the response will be from it, but it is going to be out there and people will see it.

Check out this fun little video I put together to advertise for my upcoming 48 Days Workshop.  I wanted to have a little fun with it.  I look to gain coaching clients from this workshop.

My first "48 Days to the Work You Love" seminar ended last Wednesday, December 12.  I crammed the 6-week version into 5 weeks and it worked OK but 6 weeks seems more ideal.

I was personally blessed by facilitating this class and group - it was a great mix of people and we had good participation from everyone.

I met with one of my attendees earlier today to coach her through some next steps, and am making one-on-one appointments with all my other attendees over the next few weeks to check-in and help them stay on track.

Thanks again to Dan, Ashley, Nathan and everyone else who has shared encouragement along the way!

Rich, Elmer, and everyone else - so glad to see discussions going in this group!  We are looking at numerous options for the 48 Days Workshops.  For those who are leading the workshops, participants can go to www.48days.com/seminars and get a discount code for the profiles, a free eBook, video from Dan, and connect to a 48 Days.net group just for participants.

For you facilitator leaders, be sure to go to your specific leader's page to access the full PDF Leader's guide and additional resources.  We are discussing adding a page with 5-10 minute videos of Dan to replace/update the DVDs you have in your kits - we are also discussing a 3rd edition of 48 Days to the Work You Love.  We are definitely looking at possibilities for updates to the workbooks.

Remember you have two options for materials for participants - the full Seminar kits at $69/each or just the workbooks for $20/each.  You can purchase and see the two Leader's Guide options here: www.48Days.com/becomeafacilitator.

I'll keep you posted on any updates we have!

I'm using these things as short workshops "teasers" to get them to sign up to my weekly newsletter and spark some interest in the 48 Days Curriculum.  My goal is to first build trust and show that I'm a legitimate career coach and then tag them to join me in an actual class where I would host in  the chamber of commerce or church.  I'm building my clients slowly, but also establishing than I am an authority in the field.

Elmer, thanks for sharing your strategy.  Are you thinking of doing the entire 48 Days curriculum over the course of 12 weekly "lunch and learns?"

Comment by Elmer Querubin on November 26, 2012 at 4:01pm

I have went to several coffee shops, a chic-fil-a, and a panera bread to host a 48Day workshops.  I'm trying to connect with people to attract a larger audience.  I'm going out of the box for this one and hoping my strategy works.  If not, I'll find other ways to come with to attract people to the 48day seminar group.
