Hello everyone, My name is Jenise Walters. I am currently on the journey to work I love. I recently left my Job as a software developer, to move closer to my family and take some time to develop myself spiritually before re-entering the workforce. Currently I am searching for work in the digital marketing field. I am educating myself through books and working with a local business to grow customers through social media. The job search process has been somewhat difficult for me since I am extra picky about what I apply to and I don't know many people in the area I just moved to. I'm so grateful for the 48 days community. This should have been the first place I came to to help motivate me on my journey.

Thanks David!  I'm really glad to have the 48 Days community for support for the upcoming months of change to come :-)

Outstanding and congratulations on the breakthrough, Shundra!  Be sure to get a couple of people "in the know" to look at it for any improvements.

Looking forward to hearing of your success so the screaming in the head will stop :-).

I started my 48 Days August 16th of this year and was doing great until it came time to work on my resume.  Self-doubt and sudden fear of the unknown (career wise) caused me to get three weeks behind.  I finally had that day at my current job where I was screaming in my head that I needed to escape ASAP!!!  I'm finally done with my resume and now moving towards chapter 7!  My journey might not end in the 48 Days I wanted, but I'm already happier knowing I'm moving towards work I love.

Hi everyone. Im new to this group and i would like to say that I read the book twice, but I still haven't managed to take any action. I'm thinking of reading the book a third time. Is this crazy?

Dan says 70% of people are unhappy in their work.  How many of you quiet members of this group are in that category?  If you are, have you started your 48 Days journey?  Today could be your Day 1 to a better future!

Great work Bill. Let me know if you are looking for any other resources to use with your youth. Sharing this info with them is great.

Thank you Bill for proof that this works.  Would you mind logging your progress for each of the 48 Days including your personal insights?  Just like Bryan did, it is very instructive to "see" others' practical experiences with this.

Glad to find this group!  I'm using 48 Days for a second time around.  The first time I did it was when Dan was publishing it in the three-ring binder and sending it with 48 mints in the box.  (The mints were a brilliant idea on Dan's part!)  As a result, I found a great job in a location where my family and I wanted to live most.  It worked!

It's time for another change (but not another relocation), so I'm going through 48 Days again (this time using the updated book).  I'm on Day 10.

48 Days to the Work You Love is a great resource!  I bought about a dozen copies and give them away to high schoolers I teach at church and friends I know elsewhere who have that sense of "divine discontent" where they are now.

God bless all of you in your progress along 48 Days!

Bill
