Hi everyone
About 10 years ago, while attending Bible college, I discovered how to make money on the internet. I was broke at the time and could only use free methods to get traffic to my website.
Fast forward to 2011, I own 15 sites and get 97,000 visitors each month to my sites...all for free. This traffic allows me to make a full time living from the internet.
I would like to help other 48 Days members with their traffic so if you want some help, post your question below and I will answer it for you.
Thanks
Dave

how do I get you to plug my husband's book to your audience? Confessions of a Butcher-eat steak on a hamburger budget and save$$$. I'm thinking of doing a super cheap promo for the holidays and to meet our goal of ahouseforchristmas.com

Thanks for the question.
Here are my thoughts and advice.
I know on the surface having someone with an email list of thousands of people mail your offer to their list gets you excited, however, there are some things you want to keep in mind. One is...
Message to market match.
Dan Kennedy talks about that a lot. If the message you are sending, isn't a good match for the market (or niche), the results will not be very exciting....even with a list of thousands.
Ask yourself this question, "Who is predisposed to buying this book?" "Who would LOVE to have this book?".
Go after people who have a website and/or email list filled with those subscribers. One way to do that is put your keywords into google alerts and google will send you back blogs that mention those phrases. Next, go visit those sites and see who is a potential partner. I use a google docs spreadsheet to track everything.
Also, when you make an offer to someone, be bold about it. Don't be scared to charge what it is worth! I know you are wanting to sell a million of the books...and it is possible too by the way, just make them a powerful offer. What would make it a nobrainer for someone to buy?
Hope that helps Vickie.

From the statistics, the people coming to my site are coming through keywords that I didn't even think of. Should I be changing my keywords to match these searches?
Thanks for your help.

Congrats on your first sale! That is exciting! I remember 10 years ago or so, I made $47 from Marlon Sanders' affiliate program. It was the first money I ever made online. I was never the same! :-)
That is awesome you are seeing results from your keyword research! That is actually my secret sauce. I focused on getting good at keyword research and that changed everything.
To answer your question, no, do not change your keywords. Start looking at how people are finding you and if you see some good long tail keyword topics, just add additional content to your site. Usually these phrases are VERY targeted so they convert better anyway. Google loves new content so it will only help you go higher in the search engines anyway.
Hope that helps.

Yes, it was so exciting, the account said pending and I had to verify what it meant before telling anyone :)
Thank you for clarifying this. It was what I was trying to understand and it makes a lot of sense so I'll gradually add content this way.
Thanks again for your help.
