My community,
I know there are those of you who have self published and marketed their products. Any tips that you can share?. Has any you self published and done marketing of a spiritual book? What have been some of the marketing avenues?. I am talking about an environment where internet use and marketing is still very low, use of electronic payments limited.

She helps people write, publish, and market their books and offers some great tips on her site, plus she sells some how-to resources at a reasonable price. Hope this helps!

In your case this would make sense, because you can be everywhere and make more money when you sell face-to-face. I keep a few copies of my book on-hand but when I sell a case to a health-food store, I can just drop-ship from the Amazon back-office and the cost is much lower for me, and in-turn for the store who's selling them. {The back-office sales don't "count" for sales purposes, in fairness so that you can't creatively become a best seller by buying your own book and storing in your garage until discovered by a big publishing house...}
Permalink Reply by LEONARD WILSON, JR. on August 20, 2012 at 4:36pm I published my new book through CreateSpace. I was thinking of the same exact strategy. Good info Lee.
