Singer/Motivational Speaker Business Model

Back in April I posted a discussion and wanted feedback on a business that would include singing and coaching. I went back and spoke of my idea to a mentor of mine who knows me inside and out. He really like my idea. Then he ask me if I would be interested in becoming and a motivational speaker. I said I never thought about it. Then he suggested combining singing and speaking. He said you are a high I on the disc profile and you already sing and talk in front of thousands of people. So why don't you speak as well. He went to say that my presence and dynamic voice would be great for it. So I'm looking for feedback on how to combine the two into a profitable model. Where do I get material and or learn how to create for motivational speaking? I really believe this is a winning combo. I don't know to many guys that sing and speak. I'm looking for any suggestions. thanks!!!

I think it's a great idea. A song, just like a telling a story or asking a question, breaks the preoccupation of the listener and draws them in.

Well Timothy certainly sounds like you're wired to be out in front as an "I" but whether you speak and sing or coach and sing the real key is that you have a message or passion that you can not live without sharing.
