Just wonder if you anyone would have any suggestions/questions on how to create a financially viable business model that would incorporate two of my passions? I've been singing with a Christian Group for 13 years and absolutely love it. I've been able to travel the world and get paid to do it. So.. several years back I had had several "test concerts" of just me and my band. Financially they did well and was thoroughly encouraged by this. Since then, I also have developed a new passion along side of the singing and that is Life coaching. I realized how much I love to help people by listening to their situation, coming up with a solution and motivating them. I was out of work for a while and came across 48 days to the work you love and felt this new passion to help and those who were in a similar situation as I. So... I welcome pointed questions and suggestions that would help me create a business that would fuse my two passions.

Permalink Reply by TImothy Calhoun on April 10, 2012 at 4:16pm While trying to look through new eyes, I realized that the group that I sing with has been around for 40 + years and has a 100+ albums. It has a worldwide following and Excellent music. The group is slowing down doing less dates each year because the directors are 70+ years of age. I know from prior conversations that the director has turned away dates and bookings because it's not cost effective for the group to go. So.... I got to thinking... Would it be wise of me to approach the director and ask if he could relay these dates to me and i would go and perform my concert and sing a few of the group songs and sell product and then agree on a split of some type. Or.. do you see this as a potential conflict? I'm open to your thoughts.
