Setting up a Business tax Id, LLC ?

I need to create an LLC for my online business. I was curious if anyone could tell me the cheapest and easiest way to get this done?

You'll have to check your state website on how to build an LLC business. USlegalforms.com maybe a good resource as well and was the cheapest legal site. What business are you trying to build, Shawn? Depending on what it is you may just get away with just registering a business name with the state.

In order for you to get a business tax id, you will have to go to the IRS website and apply for a business tax ID number. It's free and simple, but you don't really have to worry about getting a tax ID number until you have people working for you. You may just get away with not having one at all and separate your company through a DBA account.
