Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
For the past 2 years I've been working on a blog about organizing (MyOrganizingTips.com). I love this topic, and really desire to keep the blog going. But I feel like I might need to get a little more narrowed on my niche topic and possibly change my branding/URL for improved imaging and search results.
So I'm asking:
If I were to change the name of the blog, what name do you like best?
What area of organization that I cover do you struggle with the most and are most interested in reading about?
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out, and I can't wait to hear your responses!
That's a tough one. I like them all. I would have to choose simple (#1) because there seems to be so much overwhelm when people are trying to create change in their lives.
Have you looked at your websites stats to see what articles get the most action? Which area are you most interested in/passionate about?
Hope that helps!
Thanks for your reply, Holly!
I have look at my Google Analytics, but honestly, I think I need to spend some time on YouTube watching "How to understand and use Google Analytics best". I have it set up, but I get kinda lost once I log in.
I really like the Jetpack plugin for wordpress. Not sure if it'll go back for you, but it's worth a shot. I've also heard great things about the heatmap plugin but haven't spent much time using it. One of those might be able to give you some quick answers before spending hours trying to use analytics.
Also a great idea. Thank you again!
I think you are probably fine with the domain/brand you have.
Thanks for your thoughts Robert!
I agree with Holly. This is an area where people want simple solutions.
Thanks for your feedback Justin!
A blog about organizing, eh? Well you're correct - that is a saturated topic - what about writing a blog on how to organize blogs about organization :)
But, because it is your passion, keep blogging! I checked out your website - looks like 6-7 blogs - and all well written. I think your URL is fine - but if you want to build your email list, you will need to establish a niche. What are your other interests/expertise? Maybe combine them?
And just to make sure you're on the right path (for you), check out Simon Sinek's book, Start with Why.
Keep us posted!
Thanks Chet for taking the time to check out the site and give your feedback. I'll give your comments some thought!
