Hello everyone, my wife and I have a business idea we would like some input on.

We are starting screen printing business.  Rather than make custom shirts for choirs, churches, and small businesses, we want to make and sell our own designs.  We are currently deciding how to sell them.

We are going to sell them via ebay, etsy, amazon.com etc, but we also would like to sell them at a reduced price to vendors who would them resell them for their own profits.  Is this a viable idea or should we sell them all through our own resources?

This seems like a great community of supportive people, we don't want to screw this up, we would love some input.

Hi Tyler,

I checked out your site and saw some of you t-shirt designs.  I think what you have right now is a good thing.  Keeping things on your site will be great and expanding e-bay or amazon may be more of a Marketing type of expansion.

I would also suggest that you get models to where you t-shirts from all sides and provide as much as you can on the t-shirt.  Seriously, explain the material to the ridiculous.  What type, where did it come from, name of manufacturers, type of print method used for the shirts.  I'd make it at least 150-250 words per item.  Information sells!

I think you guys are of to a great start.  I'm sure you guys will be successful selling shirts.  Just think more marketing rather than business expansion and hopefully you'll do great!

awesome, thanks for the input, as we keep working on the website we keep your suggestions in mind.
