Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
I've been a member here for a while but have been absent recently for various reasons, one of them being a Masters program I've been in for the last 18 months. It has been quite an experience, and I'm looking forward to finishing next week. Anyway, the project I'm working on for my final is something that I want to carry forward beyond Grad school and actually make it a reality. I'm exploring how to convert large abandoned buildings/spaces into community track and field training centers that are accessible to anyone who wants to use it for running/training or walking. This idea, and the drive to make it happen, comes from years of being frustrated with not being able to have consistent access to a track for training purposes. We've faced fences, security guards, iron gates, and padlocks.
If you like to run for exercise, or have ever had a similar experience to what we've encountered, I'd love to get your feedback on my project.
You can take a short 8-10 minute survey here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/trackfacility
If you have questions or want to learn more about what I'm doing, I'd be happy to talk with you on here or via skype: glenwinkel_b
Thank you for your time, and your support :)
