Was recently fired from my job, I didn't deserve it, but that is how it goes. I also work at a church as a youth pastor, I get a salary per month, though it is not large. I am staying at home with my 2 kids at this point to save money on daycare. I would love to find online work to make at least 150 per week. Does anyone have any legitimate ideas?
Maybe you can check out doing something on fiverr. Lots of people even involve their kids to make money on there incorporating daily activities with a company advertisement and making a video of it. Here is one kid from South America I hired just for fun http://mary-kathan.com/making-money-with-what-you-have/ (it will give you a laugh if nothing else)
but they also have serious services on there too. Many folks offer a five dollar service, and then "upsell" extra services on their offer to make more money per customer.
Or try an elance.com type site and offer your services related to online work for a larger profit.
I know many internet marketers are always looking to hire people to do forum posting, or write ebooks for them.
Hi Brian. Maybe the attached list might help. A few ideas to get the brain juices flowing.
I work on odesk.com. It took me a couple of months to get regular work but starting in January I will be making almost $400 a month while working 30 hrs a week as a VA for someone. And another $40 a month writing articles. There are other sites besides odesk I just happened to find jobs through odesk easier. They have a lot of possible jobs on their site. Elance is another site I checked out but I wasn't able to get a job through them as easily.
Sorry to hear about your job loss!!!
I know you asked for online business, but just a thought...you must have a pasion with kids if you are a youth pastor I am assuming. Perhaps considering taking in a few kids as playmates for your kids would bring in some extra money. You could market your services to serve yourself and families. For example, perhaps you could become the christian-based daycare - with so many broken families where a strong male figure is not present, what an impact you could make. If you are really adventurous, you could market it for off hours too (evenings and weekends) when some families have to work. Can you imagine what an impact you could have to have a kiddo join your family at church just because he needs care on the weekend and you could be there?
Just a thought and again, I know you were not looking for this type of idea. When I read your note, I just thought wow, you could really do something creative and wild with this, but perhaps it doesn't sound appealing.
Good luck and God bless,
Live beyond awesome.
