Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

I have noticed that the general population seems to have a lot of desires but they lack action to actually help them achieve those desires.

Many people justify this lack of action with excuses like time, money, resources, etc.

I'm curious how many people in this community have invested in their personal and profession coach by attending seminars, hiring coaches, etc.

What made you make the decision to invest in yourself?
Was it worth it?
What outcomes have you seen as a result of it?

over the years I have been part of several programs, coaching programs and masterminds.  I've learned a lot and met even more great like minded people.  I think the later is the biggest value.  If you are moving away from the herd you quickly find that you are by yourself.  Seminars and programs give us the opportunity find a new tribe of people who are on a similar path as we are.

Over the years I've met many of the top names in internet marketing and personal development.  I've contributed to many books including the 4 hour Workweek.  And I've formed friendships and partnerships with some very interesting people.  I haven't gotten rich yet, but there is still time for that.

I love this - "If you are moving away from the herd you quickly find that you are by yourself."

Awesome Robert! Yes I'm hooked on investing in my own growth. There is something about finanically paying for something that has your showing up and committed at a whole new level.

I'm actually registering for a class today. :)

We invest generously in ourselves. It started small with audio books and has expanded to classes and seminars. I guess the reason is that we don't want to live like the general population. We have big dreams and are not content just going through the motions.

It's always worth it. Everything is a learning experience. Even if the class or seminar isn't what you expected.

For me, the greatest outcome is the opportunity to meet like-minded people. You're not going to find the general population at something that costs money that isn't "fun." Also, I'm an introvert and paying for something forces me to go.

How about you?

Love your input Holly. Yes, once you start investing in yourself you see that the return on investment far surpasses the original cost. Lifetime friendships and support, creative ideas and innovation, peace and joy in doing something that matters to you are all part of the return on investment.
