How do you sell a business?

I have a business I would like to sell, but have never done this before. What should I do to prepare selling it, for how much, etc...

The business is about 3+ years old and I am looking to sell it and make a change. I can't get into too many details, but if you are interested reply to this post with your email and I can contact you about it.

There was a similar discussion a few months ago in the 48Days Real Business Solutions Group. The question was asked in the reverse order...she was interested in purchasing a business, but you may find many of the responses helpful.
