I am writing my first book. I'm torn between self publishing and traditional publishing.

I know that self publishing can be so much faster than traditional publishing, but traditional publishing does have some perks as well.

I have studied more on self publsihing then traditional- but I'd like to learn more about the traditional publishing process. If anyone is and knows a literary agent that I could interview or speak to about the process please let me know.

Hey Stephanie,
I have emailed over 30 literary agents, using Micheal Hyatts Create a Winning Book proposal and it's been tough.

My plan now is to let the book do well on Amazon and add that to my query letters during the next round.

I know it's not much help. Wishing you the best of luck!

Stephanie, This might be a great discussion to start in the Write it Forward group. Erin Casey might be a great person to tap into.

I have a close friend who has been a literary agent since 1990, representing several NYT bestselling authors and smaller authors, etc. Would be happy to connect you.
