For anyone trying to view a google blog, they have been having major issues since Wednesday and have been holding scores of blogs hostage, as a result   The last comment from Google, that I know of, came Wednesday, and it was simply that they are aware of the problem.

I was out on the discussion boards not too long ago and found that the blog owners are getting a tad feisty.  In trying to work in my own blog, I found that the problem may have become a bit worse. :(.

I work in the technology area for State Gov't,  and I can imagine the pressure that the Google techs are feeling right about now.  Poor gang!

@webbingyourway Hi. I'm not privvy to the actual problem but I know they are quite complex as they affect multiple services and they need to make sure that any fixes will work in all the affected services eg Blogger/Site and APPs.
Hopefully on Monday Google will provide an update and some sort of ETA as to when the problem will be fixed.
It's a shame. This is why you should always self host through Wordpress.org.

Found this and it works...

If you blog is completely down and you need it backup with your .com address attached to it, I know how to get it backup. It's not a fix by any means, but it will get you back up and going. Go to Blogger and go to your blog options. click settings and then go to "other". At the top you have an option to "export blog." Export the blog and then go to "template". In the right hand corner you will see the option to backup or restore. Download the template of your blog. After downloading the template go to your blogger main page, create a new blog with a temporary name (tempname.blogspot.com). Go into the newly created blog, go back to settings/other and import your posts. Go back to template and click backup/restore and restore your template. Go to your "posts" and check them all and publish. Then go to Godaddy.com or whichever you use and forward your .com to your temporary address. This will make it to where your returning visitors will be able to access your blog from your .com.
