Found a great site where you can design & download a logo for free.  They take donations (which I gladly gave) but you can download it free of charge. www.logosnap.com

This is the one I created:

I like the logo. and thanks for the link to a free resource.

How about making the person in the middle green...ie as in flush with "green" money.

The other two guys a lighter green as they are on their way to getting green.  The arch could be black as in the black, so subliminal image they are above or in the black and growing/taking steps to getting or growing greenier/getting cash green.

HOpe that makes sense....shooting this reply off real quick.

It makes perfect sense, unfortunately there's only so much editing the site will allow you.  I was hoping to make the entire thing green, but the one in the middle stayed gray. I do love your idea though!!

Michelle,

thank you for sharing - your log is WONDERFUL!!!

Good tip, thanks for sharing this :)

great tip....and nice logo too!

Just one comment. As a logo designer for over 20 years, going to a site to design your own (free) logo is like going to Goodwill to pick out your interview suit for a Fortune 500 CEO position. Just like a used suit from a 2nd hand store looks "basically" the same as a $2000 tailored Italian silk suit (from a distance), the difference is in the details. And the details convey a message.

A business logo is often the first impression you make on your target audience, and you only get 1 chance at a first impression. Also, clients tend to choose the logo "they" like, not the logo their "audience" will like.

If you are starting a business on a shoestring budget and just need "something" to get started with, this might be a good site. Otherwise, an investment in your business brand is money well spent and pays dividends 24 hours away. And don't forget, a logo change can involve thousands of dollars in re-doing: cards, envelopes, letterhead, signage, vehicles, packaging, websites, etc.

Feel free to message me here if you'd like me to review your logo or brand image.

Great points Michael. I was recently looking at re-doing my logo, but never came up with anything I liked. It's always hardest when you're doing design work for yourself, and I do design work every day!

Thanks for the link Michelle! I visited the site and I think you can make the center image a different color than the rest of the logo by selecting it. I have noticed on their other logos that there are generally two to three different areas you can customize.  Hope that helps & thanks again for the link.

If you're willing to spend a little bit of money to get it, there's a very cool site called www.99designs.com.

You post your company background and give an outline on what you're looking for, and assign a "prize."  Usually for ~200-500, you'll have designers competing for you, and you'll have a bunch of logos to choose from.  And there are some incredible logos they turn in.

My opinion, if you're going to brand yourself - brand it from the get go with a professional look.  Amateur logos are easy to spot (I'm not saying yours is, just in general).

Super job with the creativity here! I like your font--and what a contrast with the triumphant stance against people's general feeling toward their finances. Thanks for sharing.

here is also another logo design website www.hatchwise.com, you tell them how much you would like to pay  and how fast you need it done and multiple designer create work for you and you pick the one you like the best then you pay ...basically designer are competing to create logos for you....also you can become a designer if you do this type of work.
