I'm thinking about creating a site that would encourage the world to thank those who (often) work thankless jobs. My focus would be to get everyone thanking those who do the menial tasks very few people want to do: The Janitor who goes around cleaning up everyone else's litter, the trash man, those who pick up/clean the trays at the mall's food court, etc.
My initial idea was thankthesmallman .org (Thank the Small Man), but am also considering thankthethankless .org (Thank the Thankless) or others.
Thoughts?
Also, should I keep it the suffix as a .org or something else?

Why would visitors go there? Just curious as to what your plan is - I like the idea. The Budweiser "Real American Heros" theme comes to mind.
I posted this a few months back and it may help you with your thought process on choosing a domain. http://mywebsiteworkshop.com/how-choose-your-domain-name
Basically this was an idea that occurred to me yesterday on how I can help change the world in my own little way. Hence the .org.
The idea behind the visitor draw is to share how one is thanking those who often don't get thanked for their efforts. This, in turn, would hopefully inspire others to do the same.
Basically just a blog format where visitors can share how they're encouraging people to keep on doing the jobs that many of us just don't want to do.
Hey Eric,
I really like your idea, too.
It reminds me a lot of the Discovery Channel show "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe. If you have never seen it, it is where he goes around actually doing these types of jobs with the same people you are talking about. Your idea looks at the people who do the jobs though and is also a call to action for the rest of us to thank them.
Maybe do some research on the show by going to the website- http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/dirty-jobs/. Could people who do these jobs could post videos of themselves in action and people could comment?
To monetize, could you get companies that have jobs like this- Waste Management, ServePro, Merry Maids, etc. to advertise on your site?
Good luck
