If you could wave a magic wand and improve 3 areas of your coaching business, what areas would you improve (or you wish were easier)? And why?

Thank you. Your insights will be a big help to me and other new coaches!

Stephanie... the three areas that I would improve are:

1. Marketing - how to get in front of people without sounding like an egotistical wizard or a desperate beggar.

2. Screening - not every potential client is a good fit. I've learned that after the fact. I'd like to be able to see it in advance.

3. Pivoting - many clients come with an expressed need which might be secondary to a more pressing issue. How do you know when to pivot?

Those are my thoughts. I'm sure other coaches have different points of view.

Terry

Thank you for your thoughts, Terry!

Stephanie, if you are not already a part of our Coaching with Excellence group, this might be worth your time to join. The group is open to all 48days.net members and can be found HERE

Thank you, Jen, I am part of that group...and you've reminded me that I should ask this question there :)

I'm always improving systems:  how clients find me, how they become engaged, how to keep them involved and meet their needs,  how to remain in touch once coaching is finished (I think that is more than three things!)

That is great. Thank you, Lynne!
